Easter Fun

photo 1 (11)

We dyed Easter eggs on the Sunday before Easter while Landon napped.

Jack and Savvy did very well. No tears, no broken eggs, no major spills!

photo 2 (11) Jack chose blue right away

Savvy wanted to make a rainbow one.

photo 4 (11)We will definitely go back again next year.  It was great fun.  Mom and Lyle met us at the parish center and the kids started with craft activities and various games.  We finished with cookies, punch, and the Easter Bunny Says game.  At the very end they separated the kids into appropriate age groups and sent them outside for the Easter Egg hunt.  The kids had a blast.

photo 2 (13)Easter morning was like every other typical morning in that it started early!!  Jack was up at the crack of dawn so excited to see if the Easter Bunny visited our house.  Savannah and Landon were up shortly afterwards and they were pretty excited to see a water/sand table, kites, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and lots of candy treats.

photo 3 (12) Landon thought the water table was an indoor swimming pool.

Landon is all ready for Easter Mass!

photo 1 (12) I didn’t get photos of the other kids.  We went to Mass and then to brunch at the club.  It was a very nice day and a wonderful way to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection!  Happy Easter!!
