Jack and Savvy were very excited to have their first t-ball experience. Chris was their coach and his season pretty much consisted of picking up the t-shirts and calling the families every Saturday for five Saturdays in a row to tell them the game was rained out. Seriously, five rainy Saturdays in a row in June. Every one of those mornings the kids were rarin to go…t-shirts on…enthusiasm at a 10….only to realize that the rain was not going to let up and we were going to be stuck at home again with no t-ball game. Finally the Parks and Recreation called the season off and scheduled two Saturdays at the end of July to play a few games just for fun. Those days were sunny and the kids had fun. We snapped a few pictures and decided that next summer would be better.
