Cousins!!

Savvy, Jaide, and Jack

The kids have loved having their cousins to play with since we have moved to Sioux City. Jaide is Jarrod’s daughter and she is such a sweet baby.  When she smiles her whole face lights up.  We don’t get to see her as often as we would like so we treasure all the time we do get to spend with her.

One day we were visiting Luke and Courtney’s house and the girls were all sitting around talking and catching up. The kids were playing quietly and keeping themselves occupied in the toy room.  After a little while we noticed they had left the toy room and we wondered where they were.  Suddenly, Brook and Jack came into the living room dressed up in princess dresses.  Brook is one funny girl and she helped Jack into the blue dress.  I laughed, snapped a picture, then immediately made him take it off, explaining he was a boy and boys don’t wear dresses.

The black socks really finish the outfit.  Poor Jack, we will have to bring this out and show your senior prom date.

Here is Miss Brooklynn in action again!! 

We came down the deck steps to see the kids in life jackets, with helmets on riding their bikes.  It was hilarious.  Brook helped them into their life vests even buckling the crotch strap.  They were prepared to fall off their bikes or survive a flood!

This is Chris’ old hockey helmet!

She is full of personality, makes us all laugh, and keeps my kids very entertained!  I love you Brook!
