A couple of weekends ago we went to Appleberry Farm on the outskirts of Marshalltown to pick apples for us and our neighbors. The sun was blinding us but somehow Savannah still looks adorable.
Jack and Savvy fought over the apples and who should carry which little bucket. Savvy kept trying to eat apples off the ground and cried when I took them away, so it was an interesting trip!
Jack maintains his talent for posing!
Lovin those smiles!
At first, Jack was scared of this display, but then agreed to sit next to the “nice” scarecrow.
We left with homemade strawberry jam, some gourds, mini pumpkins, and a bunch of apples. Two caramel apples somehow found their way into our purchases, even though I had plans to make them myself at home. I cannot resist a caramel apple. We ate them on the drive home and they were perfect. After arriving home and washing all the apples, we made two bags for the neighbors. Jack had fun ringing the bells at Larry’s house and then Jim and Veronicas to deliver the apples. Jack could not help himself, and had to ask Larry and Jim if they were going to mow that night. He cracks me up!
